3D printing allows for the formulation of complex pharmaceuticals with optimized properties, including freely customizable release profiles of one or more APIs, improved bioavailability, shape modifications for ease of swallowing, and tailored pharmacokinetics.
The platform enables production of multi-compartment tablets ranging from as small as 200 microns up to centimeters in diameter, as well as a direct upscale from lab- to mass-production without changing the production process.
3D Printing is offered from our Pessano facility in Milan, Italy, and will be added shortly to our Vandalia facility in Ohio, USA. These flexible cGMP suites permit direct scaling from laboratory quantities through to clinical trial material volumes. Commercial scale equipment will be added at a later date.
